Both sides confirm each other with an invite code. Nobody can discover your computer, and there is nothing to browse or bid on.
You set how much processor, graphics and memory a friend may borrow, for how long, and during which hours. Requests can never raise those numbers.
Work runs in a throwaway isolated environment with no access to your files, passwords, browser data or network. It is destroyed the moment the job ends.

Your job and its result are encrypted on your own machine and stay encrypted while they travel and while they sit on our servers. The service coordinates who is friends with whom and what state a job is in — it cannot open your data.
To actually compute something, your friend's computer must unlock the data inside its isolated environment. So a determined owner of that machine could inspect it while it runs. That is why this is for friends only, and why we never claim more than that.
